Note: Tuition for the Professional Pilot course is divided into 5 payments. The course typically takes 7-9 months, however each pilot has a maximum of 1 year to complete the course.

Private Pilot Private Pilot Course (14 CFR 141 or 61) If you have a passion for aviation and want to fly an airplane where you are pilot-in-command, then becoming a private pilot is within your reach! To become a certificated private pilot, Aviation Atlanta has individualized training courses designed to help you acquire all the skills necessary within the minimum amount of time, so you can finally fly for pleasure and carry passengers. Finish-up courses are also available if you have previous training or experience.

Instrument Instrument Rating Course (14 CFR 141 or 61) The addition of an instrument rating will extend your Private Pilot privileges. Completion of this course allows you to operate an aircraft solely by reference to instruments. To acquire the prestigious Instrument Rating requires a disciplined pilot, a combination of specialized instructors, consistent scheduling, and the appropriate equipment. Aviation Atlanta has excellent training techniques and the highest standards. Because of this, we have an excellent pass rate for IFR qualified pilots from our Instrument Rating Course. Ground lessons are included in the course price.

Commercial Commercial Pilot Prep Course (14 CFR 61) Aviation Atlanta offers a prep course to the pilot who is ready for the Commercial Pilot's Certificate and has at least 240 hours of flight time as pilot and have met all requirements of FAR -61.129 (a) or (b). You will receive 10 hours of intense training including practicing commercial maneuvers in a complex aircraft. The Commercial Pilot Certificate is much like your Private, except the Commercial Certificate is required for the pilot who wishes to be compensated for his or her flying. Many pilots upgrade to qualify for lower insurance premiums, or for additional flight proficiency.

Multi-Engine Add-on Course (14 CFR 141 or 61) Aviation Atlanta's individualized multi-engine training course is designed to make you a competent multi-engine pilot, with an emphasis on intensive training aimed at maximum proficiency and safety.
