1. How do I enroll as a student at Aviation Atlanta?
Enrollment at Aviation Atlanta is simple. It's always best if you visit us in person, but you may enroll by sending us an email or calling on the phone. Please email office@aviationatlanta.com or call 770-458-8034 (1-800-774-9270) toll free.
2. Does Aviation Atlanta follow a syllabus?
Yes. Aviation Atlanta follows the Part 141 syllabus approved for us by the FAA and published by Jeppesen for the training course in which you are enrolled. Our instruction follows this syllabus to ensure quality and to help the student navigate through his/her training.
3. Do I need to have a credit card to enroll at Aviation Atlanta?
In order to meet the requirements of our insurance coverage, we are required to have a credit card on file for each student and/or renter. However, there are many options to pay for your flight time with us. We accept checks, credit cards and offer the option of keeping money on an account for you.
4. Are there enrollment periods at Aviation Atlanta?
There are no specific enrollment periods at our school. We offer the flexibility of scheduling you one on one with your instructor based on your schedule. You may schedule yourself as much or as little as you find helpful. The ground school classes we offer at Aviation Atlanta run frequently and you may coordinate enrolling in a ground school with your instructor.
5. How do I get assigned an instructor?
At Aviation Atlanta we make every effort to assign our students an instructor who will work well with them and their individual personality. The owner of the school and chief instructor along with the assistant chief instructor will work with you to get a great match. We have instructors from many different backgrounds who are always willing to help you reach your aviation goals.
