Aviation Atlanta presents its G1000 course to build proficiency in technically advanced aircraft.
The course includes two, 2-hour ground lessons (4 hours total) that include Garmin course materials, instructional video sessions and question/answer time. You will learn the interface, the menu hierarchy and procedures for the integrated flight deck so that you can make the most of your flight experience with the system.
The 3-hour flight portion of the course will include basic attitude instrument flying, precision approaches, non-precision approaches, published and non-published holding procedures, and entering or modifying a flight plan.
For the price of $950, you will earn a checkout in the G1000 Cessna 172 at Aviation Atlanta, receive 4 hours of ground training, 3 hours of flight training and have a copy of your Garmin course materials from class.
