(AAI) and Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc. (ASA) have signed a letter of agreement to implement a New Hire Bridge Program designed to provide opportunities for Aviation Atlanta flight instructors who meet the requirements to become new hire pilots with ASA.  Under the agreement, AAI flight instructors will be given consideration for employment with ASA preceding their employment with Aviation Atlanta. Atlantic Southeast Airlines agrees to interview Aviation Atlanta instructors who have completed flight training and meet the following requirements: 1) Attain a minimum of the following FAA Certificates and Ratings:      - FAA First Class Medical Certificate      - FAA Commercial Certificate      - FAA Instrument and Multi-Engine Ratings      - FAA Certified Flight Instructor 2) Total Flight Hours: 200 3) Total Multi-Engine Hours: 25 The applicant must obtain a letter of recommendation from Aviation Atlanta Inc. and have completed flight training at Aviation Atlanta. ASA will interview and, if the applicant is successful, make a conditional offer of employment.  The student will then be required to continue employment with Aviation Atlanta as a CFI demonstrating a good work ethic.  After completing a period of flight instruction and ASA's simulator evaluation, ASA will place the candidate in a future new-hire class as needed.
