Aviation Atlanta is located in the heart of the South at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK), in northeast Atlanta, Georgia. The school was established at the airport in 1982 with the purpose of offering quality flight training in a positive learning atmosphere. We remain dedicated to our students with this goal in mind. If you are just beginning or upgrading your ratings, training out of Dekalb-Peachtree Airport is definitely an asset. The experience you obtain while training out of an airport that has this much to offer will benefit you greatly with your flying career. Many of our former employees and students have secured successful positions with major airlines, regional airlines, or corporate and charter aviation businesses from contacts they made at Aviation Atlanta. Our flight school is an FAA approved part 141 training school and has been approved with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service for the M-1 visa. Aviation Atlanta is also approved for VA benefits.

Our highly qualified staff of instructors, dispatchers, academic administrators, and maintenance personnel are on hand and ready to provide the necessary training to both the professional student pilot as well as the aviation enthusiast. With our full fleet of training aircraft, we can take a student from zero experience up to & including Airline Transport Pilot. Since we are FAR part 141 certified, enrollment in our part 141 instrument & commercial (single or multiengine) course will reduce your total required flight time by 60 hours cross country, as required at the FAR part 61 schools. Aviation Atlanta will tailor any course in order to meet the specific needs of each student.
